Remember the See You In September Blog Hop?
I won another Giveaway! A coffee cup sleeve and two seasonally appropriate fat quarters. Additionally, I saved the stamp from the package, since it came from Norway.
Thank you Deonn S. for providing these great patterns (and even the center panel and embroidery thread for one) for your Giveaway. I won!
Hope to start the tree skirt today.
How about the Rush Hour Blog Hop?
Thank you Anita S. for your Giveaway.
But, wait....another Rush Hour gift.
In my comment to Linda J, I mentioned that I was going to try to find this pattern that she used on the Rush Hour Blog Hop. She graciously offered the pattern to me....her actual words were..."I am done with it, like really done with it". Is she trying to tell me something?
Thanks for the gift, Linda. I love challenges.
Yesterday, my husband dropped me off at a quilt show and said he was going to a hardware store. As I made my way around to all the vendors, I came upon a gentleman selling Singer Featherweights...and his customer was my husband.
A plethora of wealth! I can't wait to see what you do with the "challenging" pattern. I know you're going to love your featherweight! Blessings, Marlene
ReplyDeleteTrying to make responding to comments a bit more efficient. But, don't really know how this works.
DeleteYour very best gift of all is your loving husband! Gifting you with a Singer Featherweight is True Love. Keep up your winning luck. Creative Bliss.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and commenting on my blog. I do have Fray Check.
Yes, I have a loving and giving husband. Now he wants to get me a new computer.
DeleteI am happy that the prize arrived, and that you liked the fat quarters and the cozy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, again, Anita.
DeleteThat is one lovely husband. I have enjoyed my featherweight but I bought it myself; I would have enjoyed it as a gift much more. Now I'd love to get one for each of my daughters....they love sewing on the featherweight also.
ReplyDeleteHe was relieved to have me show up when I did. He had not considered model numbers, etc, since he knows nothing about sewing machines.
DeleteCongrats on all the great wins and that must have been so neat to see your husband buying that beautiful featherweight for you!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHope my good luck holds as I turn my winnings into finished projects.
DeleteWow! You really did have some good luck didn't you? Enjoy it all. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
BarbCarol, love your vintage Beam and Read...so classic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your work and I'd love to be sewing, stitchin' under those sunsets in OK.......how stunning!
